Axcen Photonics Corp. was founded with the capital of USD 6.7 millions in May, 2002 in Taiwan as a professional manufacturer of active components for optical communication systems. The headquarter is located in Taipei county. With the integration of professionals in optics, mechanics and electrical engineering, Axcen Photonics Corp. has finished the development of optical sub-assembly module package, L-I-V characteristics measurement system and optical transceivers. These technologies are fully employed in the product production. Right now, Axcen Photonics Corp can offer the optical transceivers including GBIC, SFP single-mode and multiple-mode optical transceivers for optical data communication, telecommunication, cable TV systems. Furthermore, the optical transceivers for long-distance 1000BASE-LHX and 1000BASE-ZX applications are offered as well. Specification: The SFP-4xFC family of Small Form Factor Pluggable (SFP) transceiver module is specifically designed for the high performance integrated duplex data link over multi-mode or single mode optical fiber. These transceiver modules are compliance with the SFP Multisource Agreement (MSA). An enhanced Digital Diagnostic Monitoring Interface has been incorporated into the Axcen SFP Transceiver. Real time monitors of temperature, supply voltage, laser bias current, laser average output power and received output power are provided, based on the SFF-8472.

The AXFD-58D4 SFP transceivers using a short wavelength (850nm) VCSEL laser diode enable data transmission up to 150m on a multi-mode 50/125μm optical fiber and 70m on a multi-mode 62.5/125μm optical fiber.

The AXFD-13D4 SFP transceivers using a long wavelength (1310nm) FP laser diode enable data transmission up to 4km on a single mode (9/125μm) optical fiber.

The AXFD-33D4 SFP transceivers using a long wavelength (1310nm) DFB laser diode enable data transmission up to 10km on a single mode (9/125μm) optical fiber.
