Axcen Photonics Corp. was founded with the capital of USD 6.7 millions in May, 2002 in Taiwan as a professional manufacturer of active components for optical communication systems. The headquarter is located in Taipei county. With the integration of professionals in optics, mechanics and electrical engineering, Axcen Photonics Corp. has finished the development of optical sub-assembly module package, L-I-V characteristics measurement system and optical transceivers. Specification: The AXCW-4xC4 family of Small Form Factor Pluggable (SFP) transceiver modules is
specifically designed for high performance integrated duplex data link over single mode optical fiber. These optoelectronic transceiver modules are compliant with the SFP Multisource Agreement.

The high-speed InGaAsP DFB LD and InGaAs APD are provided as a light source and a
detector, respectively. There are eight center wavelengths available at present: 1470nm, 1490nm, 1510nm, 1530nm, 1550nm, 1570nm, 1590nm and 1610nm, compliant with ITU-T G694.2. These modules are designed for Coarse Wavelength Division Multiplexing applications up to 2.67Gbps.
